C# Xunit tests don't run #2

Open nilvon9wo opened 4 years ago

nilvon9wo commented 4 years ago

The C# example contains Nunit tests, which execute and pass successfully.

However, at least some of the C# exercises (e.g. hello-world) have Xunit tests. The Test Explorer successfully finds these test, but these tests do not run (at least not for me).

I've installed the following NuGet Xunit packages: xunit.abstractions v2.0.3 xunit.assert v2.4.1 xunit.extensibility.core v2.4.1

These are my installed products: Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2019 Version 16.6.3 VisualStudio.16.Release/16.6.3+30225.117 Microsoft .NET Framework Version 4.8.03752

I'd suggest adding just the xunit meta package that pulls in all the required xunit packages. You may also need to add Microsoft.NET.Test.Sdk

As the head of the NUnit team, I don't usually use xUnit, sorry 😉
