You can unselect a field by ⌘+click (or CTRL+click on PC), no problem :)
Not sure exactly what you mean on the 2nd question.
Wasn't aware of the ⌘+click, thanks. As for the second thing, what I mean is if I'm creating a bunch of fields and I forget to hit save before going to another page an alert window appears asking if I want to stay on the page or leave the page. It would be helpful if there was an option to save changes. This would still leave the page but would not discard the changes that were made saving a couple extra clicks in the process.
I get it now, something like "You have unsaved changes, are you sure you want to leave this page?"
Actually, I was hoping there could be a button that performs the exact same thing as the save button does. You would then have three buttons on the modal alert; stay on page | discard changes | save changes. The first option would work as it does now. The second and third options would leave the page as intended (or not as in my case so often happens) but one would save the changes and one would discard them.
It would be helpful if you could unselect items to hide. I found in one instance that I needed every field visible in one of my entry types but currently the only way to unselect every field is to delete and recreate the field and make sure I don't select anything from the start.
Also, would it be possible to have the alert pop-up add a save entry option to the stay on page/leave page options?
