Research abilities of APIs

User Story

As a javascript developer I want to know which APIs might work for the task of getting top ten tracks So that I can go forward with the rest of the project

Acceptance Criteria

Check the following

• Spotify
  • Does not seem to have a charts feature. It only seems to chart the users' collections
• Last.fm
  • The API authentication was too difficult to work through. Lecturer had a look and was unable to sort through
  • May try again with Postman
  • Chartmetric
  • The cURL option works, can get Bearer Token and can use APIs
  • Javascript has been unable to work
  • Deezer, Soundcloud, iTunes etc did not seem to
  • have a chart function
  • or have popular songs in the charts (i.e. user songs)
