# Addon to count elements of selected text

Information

Use

This addon announces the number of words, characters and paragraphs of the selected text by pressing Control+Shift+F12. It also create a ordered list of the words used and allow to display the lines containing a specific word.

In any text editor, or in a virtual document, for example in a web browser, PDF, email body, etc., select the desired text using the usual text selection commands and press Control+Shift+f12.

To get a list of words used, just press Control+Shift+f11. In this window, you can select the presentation order, alphabetically or by number of occurrences. It is possible to filter the words shown. You also can select a word to get a list of the lines where our word appear. Selecting one of the lines, you can press Enter to be placed in that line of the text. Note: In some apps, like WordPad, NotPad3 and possibly others, it is not possible to place the cursor exactly on the line or it is not totally possible...

The commands can be modified in the "Input gestures" dialog in the "Text editing" section.
