Splash Page Minimal and beautiful splash page that uses a color scheme or background used throughout the site. Something music related, like a concert background loop, or blurry concert lights would be good. Maybe add indistinct background noise of concert music or crowd chatter.

Layer on a typewriter effect for the site intro:

Option 1- Tag Lines: 1- "Don't get left out" (clears) 2- "Get into the action" (clears) 3- "Welcome to Tymbre" (loads home page)

Option 2- Tymbre Definition: 1- tymbre (types first and stays on page) 2- the characteristic quality of a sound, independent of pitch and loudness, from which its source or manner of production can be inferred. tymbre depends on the relative strengths of the components of different frequencies, which are determined by resonance. (types second and stays on page) 3- the characteristic quality of sound produced by a particular instrument or voice. (types third and stays on page, then loads home page)

Home Use a clean one-page layout similar to http://rhythm-of-food.net/.

  2. Link to Register (or try to have it as a pop-up so we don't need to exit this screen for simple registration)
  3. Search or Browse for Artists directly from this page
  4. Links to Artist Dashboard

Dashboard Use a React w/ Materialize template for the dashboard, as it has many components, and will take too long to code and design from scratch. 
 We may use this template, but change to a dark theme.

About Add an About page with new photos that fit the app’s theme, clever bios, and links to all the things.

Testimonials Considering adding a testimonials page is there is enough time and participation from friends that are singers, songwriters, in a band, or want to pretend to be a music talent agent. Ideally, these would be in the form of a video, but we can accept a quote instead.
