error downloading roms #67

Hi, when I double click on any rom and it starts downloading data, no matter what rom it is, it always throws this error:

Downloading https://archive.org/metadata/mame-merged ......done Downloading size:851 Kilobytes (KiB) url:https://archive.org/download/mame-merged/mame-merged/88games.zip ... !!! WORKER ERROR: Error en el servidor remoto: (403) Prohibido.

System.Net.WebException: Error en el servidor remoto: (403) Prohibido. en System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() en Spludlow.MameAO.Tools.Download(String url, String filename, Int64 expectedSize) en Spludlow.MameAO.Place.DownloadImportFiles(String url, Int64 expectedSize, String[] info) en Spludlow.MameAO.Place.PlaceMachineRoms(String mainMachineName) en Spludlow.MameAO.Place.PlaceAssets(String machineName, String softwareName) en Spludlow.MameAO.MameAOProcessor.RunLine(String line) en Spludlow.MameAO.MameAOProcessor.<>c__DisplayClass9_0.b__0()

If I go to the download address: https://archive.org/download/mame-merged/mame-merged/88games.zip, the rom downloads without any problem

Any idea what could be happening? I'm running the program on Windows 10

Hello @Thegreekman76

Sounds like an authentication issue with archive.org.

Ensure using latest version https://github.com/sam-ludlow/mame-ao/releases/latest

Delete this file then restart MAME-AO you will be asked for your archive.org credentials.

_TEMP\CACHE\archive.org-auth-cookie.txt
