Hello! Here is a cosmetic suggestion for icon replacement, the native Notes.app icon:

Thanks for your workflow, it works perfectly in High Sierra.

Glad you like the workflow. I did want this originally, but I chose not to include it because of copyright. I'm surprised to find that I can symlink icon.png to the icns file in Notes.app and it works now.
