Ran into some issues with the google maps API not fitting bounds on the map correctly. Currently if bounds are set using the API fitBounds() call, the map will zoom out all the way. I suspect it might have something to do with the map being hidden when the dataset loads until the tab is clicked. As a temporary fix, I just set the zoom to zoom out a bit more to cover a larger area. See 8d8a7a372b300941561df9f4cc4ef27a780a4510
