Update 10/14/21
Here's the issue we found. Interviews with multiple sessions only play the first session on iOS, even if the user tries to play the subsequent session by either pressing play or skipping to different points in the transcript/log. In our latest testing, this playback issue only occurred on iOS.
Session 1 and its timestamps are playing correctly for me.
When I click to play Session 2, I hear the beginning of the audio for Session 1. When I scroll down to the transcript for Session 2 and click on the timestamp 5:49:04, I again hear audio from Session 1. The same thing happens when I click on the various timestamps for Session 2.
Clicking the 4:00 time stamp in Session 1 does jump the audio to that point in the transcript.
Clicking on the session 2 audio just plays the session 1 audio again.
4:25 time stamp for session 2 script skips forward but it is the same audio from session 1.
Original description of issue
Issue where audio is not automatically playing through different sessions on mobile. (If there are 8 sessions, no matter which you click it only play the first session.)
Feedback from a user
"I’m having one small issue, likely others would as well: on cellphone web browsers, the “play button” only plays the first interview in the series but will not advance to the others. This is not an issue on a laptop/PC only cellphones."
Feedback from Kristian
"checked on iPhone se safari (latest os/browser) and had same issue (not auto jumping to next interview)"
only session 1 plays, the subsequent sessions won't auto-play nor will they play if you click on them
tried on macbook pro laptop and sessions did not auto-play on chrome or firefox. when i tried advancing the audio in the player on safari, it wouldn't play at all. not sure if this is just on my end or not.
Feedback from Jane
"I'm finding that I can play all sessions on [android] but I have to actively press the pause to stop the session that is playing in order to have the next session play. Today I also found I had to do this on the site on PC as well...I was able to navigate to different sessions with no pause in Edge, but not in Chrome"
Feedback from Teresa
"I just tried playing sessions on my PC, and I don't seem to have that issue. I can play different sessions with no pause between them."
