This time we've got an issue in Somer Soneday:
Here's a simplified transcription of the main text:
<l xml:id="bodllaudmisc108.12.80">¶ Be kynde it me comeþ</l>
<l xml:id="bodllaudmisc108.12.81">to cleyme kyngene kyngdom</l>
The problem is that "to cleyme" is inline with "comeþ". The slight indentation of "kyngene" and the added note "versus" in red clearly indicate that line 80 ends in "comeþ" and line 81 begins with "to cleyme", but I am not sure how to encode this in a way where the <l> element does not create an artificial line break in the diplomatic view. Do we need to have something like l@type="nobreak" to tell the browser not to render a line break at the end of the poetic line in the diplomatic view? See issue #53 and issue #24 for related problems.
