Feature - Vacuum Tubes #767

Even though transistors have made vacuum tubes obsolete, I still think that it would be rather interesting to have vacuum tubes to experiment with. I also enjoy recreating old circuits from their schematics. Unfortunately a lot of circuits from the 1950s that I would like to try and simulate require vacuum tubes, which is something that most circuit simulation applications do not have. Since this one appears to be actively developed, as well as open source, I figured that I might as well request it here.

It actually does have a triode (see under Active Components), one of the most basic forms of vacuum tube. (Look under Misc Devices in the Circuits menu for a couple of sample triode circuits.) But the triode here isn't well documented, and considering the great variety of vacuum tube types, I could imagine the feature could be expanded a lot.
