Friend is trying to use REI and had it working for a while, but all of a sudden he starts asking why he cannot search for anything.
When typing in the search bar on my screen, the search results update in real-time and the results are shown on the right,
But when he types nothing at all happens, and he needs to press enter to begin a search. But instead of happening right away, it brings up a loading bar saying "REI searching for results... This may take longer the first time." But then nothing shows up in the right and the search line shows in red. Even when searching for 'Dirt'
This almost seems intentional, like he's enabled some feature and we have no idea how to shut it off. But I've tried for hours to find something to toggle or reset to return it to the correct functionality. Relogging, death, keybindings, no luck.
Hope you can offer a suggestion or insight.
