[Bug] Tags reloading infinitely, 63,383 warnings in 10 seconds before quitting, compatibility, but no idea what after lots of unofficial testing #1733

What happened?

Sometimes REI will claim it couldn't load tags, then start a repeating reload sequence that fills the RAM buffer and pastes tens of thousands of warnings in the log. It starts with "No key id in MapLike[{"tag":"forge:ingots/brass","required":false}]"

This also breaks my KubeJS scripts, making them load their parameters incorrectly. For instance, I've disabled ALL of the items it claims I've designated a duration event for, but I've used a simple removal via regex of names. Ingame, this will show a repeating chat log of reloaded scripts not limited to REI, but in entirety.

This happens far more often with JEI, near 100% of the time actually, and with EMI as well. REI is the only reliable item lookup/recipe library I can use. I have yet to find a compatibility error amongst my mods, I think it's probably related to a library, but I've disabled my entire mod list hundreds of times now and never seen exactly where it starts and stops, or even seen it reliably have this issue in any testing scenarios for various things. It happens not very often with REI, and I assume I could test with JEI or EMI, but those two also cause the entire game to fail loading sometimes, whereas that happens extremely rarely without one or the other.

What mod loaders are you seeing the problem on?

I am using REI plugin compatibility. It works less good without. My current mod list that has persisted mostly unaltered for the past 3 months of dev, and will probably not budge for the following months: A-ModList.txt

By submitting this issue, I have confirmed my REI and REI's dependencies are up to date.
