selecting an image for a fleet leaves it half greyed out with grid lines #2

On Pixel 5, select a few images from the camera roll for fleets, hitting back each time, and eventually you'll see one like this:

As if the image is stuck in the "moving" mode (even though it was never moved).

Pressing "Fleet" in this state KEEPS the blue lines and grayed out image as part of the fleet. So for the user to fix it, they must move the image.

solved by axing Fleets, alas!
