Hi there! I'm one of the primary developers behind CharLib, another open-source cell library characterizer that you mention in your README. Since you mention the similarities between CharLib (at least, as it was a few months ago) and libretto, I wanted to reach out and start some discussion.
CharLib started out as a hard fork of Libretto. This was never meant to be a secret, and I personally apologize if we've offended you in any way.
The only reason we didn't keep CharLib linked to Libretto was because we knew we wanted to take things a different direction.
As you can see from the current state of CharLib's codebase, there isn't a whole lot it has in common with libretto at this point. We've reworked just about everything, from the input interface to execution flow to SPICE integration.
We currently link to libretto in our README and intend to continue doing so, as well as listing your software in our references.
We have a lot of respect for your work. Otherwise we never would have forked it in the first place. I don't want there to be any animosity between us; if there's anything we can do to further clarify the link between your work and CharLib, please let me know.
