About The Project

JSON-XML Things is a validator, reformatter and converter for JSON & XML, this javascript based application process all the data locally. Copy and paste or directly type and let JSON-XML Things tidy and validate your messy JSON/XML code.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple steps.

Prerequisites

• You need to have Node.js installed in your system. You can download Node.js from here
• To verify Node.js installation, open terminal and type the command node -v . Press Enter. The returning line will display the Node.js version.
• You need http-server to run the project over a http server
• Open terminal and type the command npm install --global http-server . Press Enter. This will install http-server globally so that it may be run from the command line anywhere.

Installation

1. Download the project as zip file and unzip
2. Open terminal and type the command

   http-server [path of your project] -p [ Port to use (defaults to 8080)]

3. Now you can visit http://localhost:8080 to view your browser
