Idea: Mod compatibility Unified Oil/Unified Fuel #83

I would like to see unified oils.

I.e. Actually Additions add Canola Oil and a processing/refining to fuel for oil generator. The processing might be available for seed oil, cooking oil, etc. too.

But there are a lot of Mods out there, which provide some kind of oil.

I'm not quite sure where TVO comes into play in this suggestion?

I don't know the inner structure of the system and I'm not familiar with programming at all.

So break it down to a suggestion of plant oil adding to forge ore dictionary (if already in place) and allow to replace it in recipes with oils from other mods. Else it would be an issue for Forge. :)

Oh are you saying the Vegetable Oil from The Vegan Option should be able to be used in recipes using oils from other mods like Actually Additions?

Yes. Would be great but vice versa also. Many mods add oil and some of these mods add refining, fermenting and fuel creation from oil (i.e. Immersive Engineerings bio diesel).

Why not using IEs creosote oil or seed oil for TVO recipes? :)

On fluids, specifically:

Fluids are hard to make compatible in the same way as items (although I might just not be aware of how its done; afaik the way to do it is have a bunch of mods try to register fluids with the same names and then just use whatever fluid gets registered with that name if another mod registered it before you)
Things that can be used as (or refined into) fuel need at least somewhat careful integration so as to not break balance unintentionally (see the note at the end of the commit message in https://github.com/squeek502/VeganOption/commit/cc22f7ba7345e415e5d6987ea8d4e59cf522f808)
