Fails with <br/> #40

When a have this code 

    foo<br/>
    barr<br/>
    42

and I save the post: no problem. But when I edit the code is now

    foo<br/> barr<br/> 42

The preview is correct but the markdown is break and I have

foo<br/> barr<br/> 42

in my article.
