6 months ago I have been thinking about this because I have been thinking about the CLI because I am still an obstinate dreamer with dull dreams.
As I understand your wizardy thusfar, I imagine it would be something like:
- communicate with API directly from ur own code (cURL, POST, what have you)
- roll your own syntax
- parse your own syntax your own way
However, the last two steps shouldn't be (aren't?) required. This question then becomes "How do I send and receive valid responses with the API without parsing a document" which will apply to probably every plugin in some way. Lemme write out a story I've been thinking of.
As a developer, I don't want to use the default behavior of the Octothorpe custom element, OR the markdown plugin. I want to live my own life and be free, while still taking advantage of how cool octothorpes are.
How do I do that??
