it used to work but now it doesnt. I followed all the instructions correctly. I dont know how to debug or resolve this.

This is likely a duplicate of https://github.com/sultim-t/Serious-Engine-RT/issues/19. The issue is probably related to WINE in general, rather than using a GPU without hardware-accelerated raytracing.
