I think RTX is too much "ON" whenever I want to use the crowbar 😂

Could you please look into it?

Thank you and also awesome remaster by the way, love it. ❤❤❤

Sorry for commenting so late, but you can get rid of the new crowbar and return to the original by deleting the " v-crowbar.mdl " file from the " rt/valve/models " folder!

Hi, thanks for the workaround. Although I have plenty of fps to spare, I was just more curious to know why the crowbar is so more RTX & resource intensive than other weapons.

Okay! :) I instantly sought a way to delete the new crowbar because it clashes with the rest of the visuals so hard. I prefer the original assets. :D

I do too! I'm curious to know, did you lose some frames when you hold the crowbar too?

I had to reinsert the model in to test it lol. But for me there's only maybe a couple of frames difference when holding it. With RTX 3070 at 1440p DLSS/FSR Quality both gave me 70 fps without crowbar and 67-69 fps with crowbar, at that scene.

Hey, thanks for testing it out. I think it has more impact at different scenes throughout the game but so far from what I have tested, these were my results:

  1. around 3 fps hit with no DLSS/FSR
  2. 4~5 fps hit with DLSS Quality
  3. Up to 10~12 fps hit on DLSS Balanced, depending on the scene
  4. Same as Balanced, up to 10~12 on DLSS Performance, depending on the scene

Tested with an RTX 3090 at 1440p 165Hz.
