unknown_2024 03 25-12 48 Hello there. I face an issue i can't get rid off. I have an AMD 7900 xtx, playing the game at 4k, fsr balanced or quality or even native The RT light bounces and shadows are flickering like hell, like if it was very low res or lacking temporal stability. I tried everything i could using cvars or anything. But it doesn't work. I remember trying the mod some months ago and everything was fine . I just don't understand. Does anyone have some tips here ?

I am joining a fixed screen of the issue, it is not easy to see on a fixed pic. But you can see the artefacts on the objects and the spotty shadows in the corner. It just flickers and moves CONSTANTLY in a distracting way when camera moves, and it doesn't act like that on video i see on youtube, or when i was playing some months ago. Moreover , i see that the indirectlighting bounce cvar is not working whe tweaking value. Could be that ?

Thanks.

I have even worse (Driver v. 24.4.1) image And this has happened in a newer version, because previously everything was perfect: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_3J8FZ_kGM&t=88s

Try it with steam_legacy build of Half-Life (Library > RMB on HL > Properties > Betas > Beta Participation: steam_legacy — Pre-25 Anniversary Build), it could improve your situation. If not, then try installing older versions of this mod over clean steam_legacy version of Half-Life.

Neither legacy build, nor installing an older version improved the situation. It made it even worse.
