I too cannot get this app to work on lollipop.
I can connect to the server, but no mouse cursor appears (like on kitkat) when I mouse over. I cannot interact with mouse or keyboard with the android device.
Likewise for me. I'm on 5.1.1 with a Nexus 7 (2013). I can connect, and the server detects that the cursor went of screen, but no cursor appears on the android device. Keystrokes don't seem to be sent either.
hello .I setup synergy 1.6.2 (on windows 8.1 x64),using synergys.exe -f enabled the server. then connected successfully on the android 5.1.1(nexus 7 2013 ,chroma rom). But, I can see nothing.(the relastic must be @Allotrope 's answer). Now,good news, I setuped the synergy 1.5.1(x64),with the same env. I've see the pointer, and the keyboard works as well. I've no founding the key assitense, but i've only konw that it can work. (sorry for my poor english)

Same here on Galaxy S6 running 5.0.2.
Is this project alive?
Seems that this is android security update issue. quick fix
adb shell
su
setenforce 0
to set permissive mode to selinux
It works... but i'm experimenting some lags each 1/2 seconds.
Note that disabling selinux could make you much more vulnerable to malware and whatnot.
Just info: LG G Pad 8" - Android 5.0.2 - working good fine for alpha.
Windows 8 64 bit and rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 with Lollipop 5.0.1 not working, same as above, it detects connection and that the cursor went off the screen but no cursor appears on the Andoid device, any ideas ?
Has anyone a suggestion how to make this working on Android 6.0.1? Seems to be the same SELinux restriction.
Guys has anyone figured out stuff on Android ? In the above failures, did you guys try with the pre-compiled app from a while ago or did someone setup a fresh compile env? Would love to get updated compile instructions for Android.
Hi Guys, add support for lollipop. This is extremely old and incompatible.
