Some people (like me) prefer Blue: https://github.com/villares/thonny-blue-code-format But don't worry, either would be fine. (And I couldn't get arround re-packing it for PyPI...)

Definitely something to look into 👍

The thonny-black-formatter plug-in looks pretty straightforward, so I can't imagine it should be too difficult (baring packaging challenges).
