HOWLR

Howlr is a social applicaiton designed to connect pet owners with local events, dog sitters, and other pet-friendly resources.

Getting Started

1. Clone the reponsitory
2. Install the dependencies using npm install
3. Start the development server using npm start
4. Open your web browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000

Running the Project

In the project directory, you can run:

npm start

Runs the app in the development mode.\ Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in your browser.

Features

• Role-specific profiles: The platform provides separate profiles for users, sitters, each with unique features tailored to their role.
• Social and community features: Users can access social features such as event listings, groups, and posts, as well as an interactive map with filters for pet-friendly locations.
• Pet-sitting functionality: Users can find and book sitters for their pets, receive updates and care instructions during their pets' stay, and chat with other users.
