Let's instrument cli to track events, so that we can show usage metrics on the web page for each extension

fyi @ryw, we are building OCI support for our registry, and looking to emulate the UI experience for: https://artifacthub.io/

They will not make it flexible enough for any project, but custom OCI is surprisingly easy
