From codemirror to Monaco Editor

I know you are using codemirror... but, i was wondering if you could replace it with microsoft's vscode's editor Monaco Editor since it is better in performance, more features / extensions and more

It's a possibility that should not be hard to integrate into the editor and we can provide booth options.

But unfortunately, I'm currently lacking the time to work on it.

I will keep the issue as a suggestion for future developments.
