Ability to build a JQL to check whether a Jira issue is “covered” by tests #1094

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The Tests Coverage report in Jira allows us to filter issues by sprint or use a JQL. JQL is handy for us because we need to filter issues by a given Release, meaning that the work done for a release is done during some sprints, and some issues of the sprints are not related to the release. The problem with this report is that to present it to someone, we need to filter the information in the moment. Through this report, we can know which Jira issues are "covered" by tests or not, but there is no way to export this data or have a percentage of coverage for a given release or sprint. We would like to see the percentage of covered issues or uncovered in total for a given JQL or sprint and a way for the stakeholders to access this information without filtering the data. This doesn't work for us.

Describe the solution you'd like We would like a way to filter Jira issues associated with Testomat tests easily using Jira filters or JQL. This way, we can filter the data we need and build a Jira Dashboard that can be easily accessed by people who need to check this information.

Describe alternatives you've considered A good alternative would be a Testomat gadget that can be easily added to a Jira Dashboard like Xray has. Another interesting alternative would be to add some filters to the Jira Analytics in Testomat, where we can filter by sprint or JQL.
