  1. ch20 P13. in the sketch of money flow, does it include M which capitalists Ⅰ (capital variable) purchase labor power?

I will refer to Ed George's Reading Notes for Marx's Capital vol 2 Chapter 20 chunk 1 as EGRN C2.20-1.

(There are three files or "chunks" for Chapter 20)

p13 in chunk 1 of my copy has one "sketch". We will need a standard way to refer to items as pagination may change with improvements. Hopefully we will end up with a labelling system that links directly into diagrams within subsections. Meanwhile I will use digits for the section and subsection within a chapter, followed by a diagram number within a subsection, ignoring the file or chunk number.

So C2.20-1 p13 is within C2.20.5.3 "III The movement of money and the realisation of commodity circulation" which is within C2.20.5 "5 The Mediation of the Exchanges by Monetary Circulation"

The first diagram on p13 is also the first diagram in the section so I will label it as C2.20.5.3d1

There are 4 diagrams in that section, wirh d4 on page 14.

Short form to label the "sketch of money flow" while we know we are discussing EGRN ch20 would be 5.3d1. Short label while we know we are discussing diagrams within 5.3 is d1

The section should be improved to explain clearly that it is discussing two "circulations" of money in which money "advanced" by capitalists of a department returns to capitalists of the same department. First of thesse two is:

Circulation A for a single advance from department 1 returning to department 1. This is shown as a single arrow labelled A in d1 from department 1 to department 2 and then returning to department 1. The three movements of money for A are listed as "exchanges" i to iii in the second paragraph of 5.3, paragraph 5.3-2. I would switch to digits instead of roman numerals so A includes exchanges 1 to 3.

These 3 exchanges are spelled out in d2, which should have labelled the 3 exchange arrows from left to right as 1 to 3. d2 exchange 1 corresponds exactly to the first half of the circulation arrow for A in d1, advancing M1000 from wages 1000v from capitalists in department 1 to workers in department 1 in exchange for workers labor power.

Note that workers of department 1 are not shown in d1. They are only an intermediate step for the money advanced from capitalists of departmen1, as the start of the top half of the circulation arrow A.

Then d2 exchange 2 shows the workers spending the same money to buy necessities from the capitalists of department 2. This completes the end of the first (top) half of the circulation arrow A shown in d1 so the money M1000 is now in department 2. The money returns to department 1 in the bottom half of the circulation arrow A of d1 as explained by the exchange 3 of d2 where capitalists of department 2 use the same money to buy constant capital from the capitalists of department 1.

I think d1 could be improved if the workers of department 1 were shown as an intermediate stop for the top half of the arrow A in d1.

Also whole discussion could be improved by explicit use of corresponding terms for same concepts in UN SNA. Will write about that separately.

Perhaps text needs to emphasize that d1 is a preview summary of d2 to d4.

Short answer:

In EGRN C2.20.5.3

d2 exchange 1 shows M1000 from capitalists of department 1 buying 1000v of labor power from workers of department 1. It corresponds to the start of the top first half of the circulation arrow A shown in d1 and the explanation in 5.3-2.
