Fix/site transitions #343

Large PR to solve tiny problem.

Transitions in between pages have been broken for a while (my bad). Fixing this was partly to fix the flash of content, but also because it was the one piece of code I know is everywhere that was doing nothing.

NOTE: this build may fail. I need to update app with the changes, but I've suddenly found app's structure to not map nicely to the requirements here.

I accidentally pushed a change here that was supposed to be in a different PR.

I also realized that the changes required across the 3 sites were far too big to pull off this easily. I'm going to put this to the side in the meantime until I've finished with the contract replacement & KYC integration
