Project 1 - Flexie
Flexie is a movies app using the The Movie Database API.
Time spent: 20 hours spent in total
User Stories
The following required functionality is completed:
- [x] User can view a list of movies currently playing in theaters.
- [x] User can show/hide details about each movie.
- [x] User sees loading state while waiting for the API.
- [x] User sees an error message when there is a network error.
- [x] User can refresh the movie list.
- [x] User can search/filter the movie results via a search bar.
- [ ] User can use the page on both desktop and mobile viewport sizes.
The following optional features are implemented:
- [x] Toggle between Now Playing and Top Rated movies.
- [x] Sort Movies by rating, popularity, release date.
- [ ] Animations on open/close details.
- [x] Infinite Scrolling.
- [x] Movie Poster Lightbox on click
- [ ] Multiple Layout Options
The following additional features are implemented:
- [x] Whenever user change between New Playing and Top Rated mode, state of Filter/Sort will be reseted.
- [x] Filter/Sort only apply on current displayed movies list.
- [x] When user search (SearchBox has text), disable loadmore function.
- [x] Data receive from loadmore function will be sort base on mode user picked before.
