Hello, unfortunately the in-lab portion of the project are files stored on my university's lab computer that I never got the chance to upload to GitHub.

can you just explain what is just the modification you did to your model for making it work using the quanser inverted pendulum ?

So I don't show the lab model in the report either. It's actually a modification of a demo model provided by my professor that runs an LQR controller. It also flips the pendulum into the upright position. Guessing if you have access the equipment you should be able to find a file like that. The idea is replacing the LQR controller, which is a PD controller that regulates both angle and position, with a generalized transfer function block that regulates only angle. The lab we wrote the simulation for only controls angle and not position b/c it focuses on single variable control.
