Awesome work. I especially like the remote URLs. I didn't think of that and it will be a really great way to run test cases. There's a few small things I modified this morning, with the following highlights:
.load
is actually feed line-by-line through the REPL, even without the delay. This is primarily so that you can use ↑,↓ to go through the history. Plus we don't need to add color coding to understand what's going on, we can just prefix with a prompt as though it was typed, and you'll get to see the return value or each line.rl.write
as opposed to console.log
. The way you have it, the code won't get saved in the readline.history
, which is what is used by the save
functionality you just merged to output the command history. Plus it will also use the eventing already in place, no need to fore message
manually to the server anymore.
