Fan Control on infinitybook pro 16 #273

Hi TUXEDO i have a Schenker Vision 16 pro (wich basically is the InfinityBook pro 16 as far as i know) Very often i really struggle with the fans. I have VanillaOS (ubuntu based distro) installed.

also i managed to install tuxedo_keyboard and tuxedo_control_center. Though everything for the fan control is grayed out and it says its not supported.

Will TCC fan control normally work with this laptop?

Hi, i've had the same issue on my Schenker Via 15 Pro running Debian Sid. I was missing the package linux-headers-amd64

Whats the output of 'dkms status'? It should tell something like 'tuxedo-keyboard/3.1.4, 6.1.0-8-amd64, x86_64: installed' if not, you are maybe missing the linux headers too.

Thank you very much for replying. I think it is the solution. Though i did not actively update the linux headers but they were reinstalled during a kernel update or graphics drivers maybe. So, TCC is running well now and i can create custom profiles. Finally The notebook is working properly. Before it was hardly usable due to battery drainage and massive fan noise.

dkms status shows tuxedo-keyboard/3.2.1, 5.19.0-40-generic, x86_64: installed
