Hello,

could be related to a recent Plasma update introducing "Follow Accent Colour". Please have a look if unchecking the option solves it.

My accent color was blue. Disabling did not help. The colors jump from green to red skipping blue. The backlights are also not detected by OpenRGB.

It works if I set RGB to 0, 0, 255 so maybe your color selector or driver regressed.

Could you elaborate how you set it when it works and how you set it when it doesn't work?

I found an XP1710 (17-inch, but also had the three area keyboard) and had a quick playaround, however, could not reproduce the issue. That is, choosing blue in TCC worked in all cases I tried.

It works when you type in the RGP. It does not work when you drag with your mouse in the color square.
