I can second that issue. Using prime-select as @roundoutandabout described in the first post, allows me to use the nvidia GPU again. After that I only have the option "Select built-in" over the TUXEDO Control Center again.

After switching to intel + reboot, the command shows nothing.
Hmm ok seems to be a bug, possibly in the suse version of the prime package not recognizing prime supported configuration after switch.
Edit: Not sure why I wrote suse, KDE Neon you wrote in the OP
Ehm. please disregard accidental automatic close through commit.
I'll reopen during consideration of a suitable workaround.
