Hello,

could you execute

prime-supported /dev/null

and share the output here?

roundoutandabout commented 3 years ago

Hi @tuxedoxt , here:

$ prime-supported /dev/null
yes
linuxrecon commented 3 years ago

I can second that issue. Using prime-select as @roundoutandabout described in the first post, allows me to use the nvidia GPU again. After that I only have the option "Select built-in" over the TUXEDO Control Center again.

Hi @tuxedoxt , here:

$ prime-supported /dev/null
yes

Thanks. This was in prime-select nvidia+reboot mode?

If so please do it once again after reproducing the problem, that is, in prime-select intel+reboot mode.

If so please do it once again after reproducing the problem, that is, in prime-select intel+reboot mode.

After switching to intel + reboot, the command shows nothing.

Hmm ok seems to be a bug, possibly in the suse version of the prime package not recognizing prime supported configuration after switch.

Edit: Not sure why I wrote suse, KDE Neon you wrote in the OP

Ehm. please disregard accidental automatic close through commit.

I'll reopen during consideration of a suitable workaround.
