Enable use of vim bindings #187

This project is amazing and is almost everything I want out of a Markdown editor. The one thing missing is the text editor part: vim.

I was digging around in the Application Package and noticed that you're using CodeMirror. It seems simple to enable their vim bindings.

Could you make this an option?

After testing out about 20 different Markdown editors before finding this fantastic app. It's everything I want in a markdown editor, but I would also love to have the option to enable the use of vim mode.

There are a few vim plugins already for atom.io, maybe we can use one of those?

Does it have the vim mode now ? I really need it.

+1 for me too.

That would be great. Have my money if this gets vim bindings!

you should try Haroopad

you should try Haroopad

I used haroopad for years. Typora is so much nicer. +1 I would love vim bindings in Typora.

+1, please :)

The neovim extension that uses Rust to live-compile Markdown isn't working, but Typora would be a good replacement if it had this. Take my +1!

Any news on the case?

Jerry-Ma commented 6 years ago

@boardfish If you are talking about this https://github.com/euclio/vim-markdown-composer , I am using Mac OS + neovim and it works fine.

Anyway, I would definitely try Typora if it had vim binding.

+1!

It could also be great if you could watch a file edited outside the app. Then you could edit it with your preferred editor (vim) and see the result on the app.
