Unfortunately including languages based on requests won't resolve the underlying issue. Currently the snap only ships a limited amount on purpose. As of now this results in a 656MB sized snap.

I am going to run a build which will match the language support of the Ubuntu deb package. If this results in a reasonably sized snap we can consider shipping it and hopefully resolve missing translations for every user.
