Probably too much explanation and background for a 5 minute presentation. Where was the Dynare solution of the model? You've had the VAR stuff for a long time.

Taxation analysis in Japan Analyze adjustment of policy impacts what in Japan? Trying to follow the postponement effects...not optimal, but they increased consumption?

Interesting topic! I was wondering that is there any special reason of using quarterly macro data rather than monthly macro data to train your model? And what is the time period that your data spans? I was a bit concerned that there would not be enough data to effectively train the proposed model. Thank you.

@jamesallenevans

  1. Impacts the consumption pattern in Japan
  2. It brings future consumption to present, so it increases consumption in current periods. If this postponing process keeps going, the inflation expectation is persistent.

@Shuting05

  1. This is because the monthly data is not not available in all variables enter my VAR model.
  2. The data I used is "just enough" since the policy period is short.

I'll revisit the data to see what can be done.

@rickecon

I'm kind of stuck there. I'm trying figure it out ASAP, sorry for the delay. I was busy with the application thing and other stuff.
