One more thing - you do not have to keep a separate time long, journal and weekly reflection. Just one of those is enough, so long as it captures what you did and how much time you spend. You certainly can use all three, but it is not required (I had all three in my demo app just to provide some different possible formats).
I made the changes as described in Instructor Feedback.
Jeanne, you have a very solid project idea here and you've done a very nice job with your first checkpoint! Screens, user stories, and db design are all looking good. It's clear you've a lot of time and thought into your project already!
I have a few comments/questions below:
[x] See screenshots below for a few comments on the project problem statement and tech list.
[x] User stories - again, I'm wondering if there should be an admin who can "crud" everything, a creator who can "crud" only their own stuff, a registered user who can read everything, and everyone else who can read public stuff.
[x] You have several media types: films/books/trailers/short stories/music videos. Perhaps for MVP, you may not need all of those? Would it make sense to target one type, and then make the rest "stretch goals"? Meaning if you have time, then you can add them.
[x] RE sending a reset link - you might use an API like JavaMail to send a reset link.
[x] When registering - how do you designate between a registered user and an admin?
[x] We will be using tomcat authentication which has some specific requirements around the user and role table. I will share that basic structure in slack so that everyone has the same info.
