The specification for Raspberry Pi to be used for a hands-on exercise using UNVT

Requirement for the hands-on participants' Raspberry Pi

Required

• Raspberry Pi
• AC adapter
• Micro SD card (I use 32GB EVO+)
• Ethernet cable

Optional

• Raspberry Pi case

Not required

• HDMI cable. Instead we ask participants to bring computer with an Ethernet port.

What if a participant's PC does not have a Ethernet port, as in modern note PCs?

1. A tutor connect to the RasPi using Ethernet connection.
2. The tutor connect the RasPi to the WiFi using raspi-config.
3. The tutor checks the IP address allocated to RasPi.
4. The participant connects to the RasPi using the IP address using WiFi.
