With this repository, this AWS/ECS process is over via CCI ?

In some cases YES. If you need it and you implement it, you can deploy to ECS by CircleCI.

Reference architecture uses EKS, and deployment is maybe done using terraform. So, I think it's enough only to push to ECR for the repository.
