Can't boot into EFI #106

Adjusting my UEFI settings as per the installation instructions renders my system unable to boot from the flash drive. The Mac logo appears and it loads a tiny bit then reboots my entire system. I'm trying to install the latest Ventura on my T480. Please help.

My boot was stuck because of the kext Display-30e4-521.kext. First things first, I'd try disabling that. If that doesn't work, try doing any of the following:

Try disabling all kexts, only keeping the main ones (Lilu, VirtualSMC, WhateverGreen) ^[1] ^[2].
Try, together with only keeping the main kexts, disabling any non essential SSDT patch (the list of needed patches for Coffee Lake here).
Try enabling verbose mode, see if anything interesting comes up, and post your logs here.
