Monitor USB hub not working when driving display with USB-C #124

Running v1.3.0 with Ventura (13.3) on a T480 I am unable to use the USB peripherals attached to my monitor when the display is connected via USB-C. This works correctly in Ubuntu and Windows. If I instead connect the monitor to the Thunderbolt port I have the opposite effect where the USB peripherals work but the display does not.

Any guidance or support would be greatly appreciated

Any fix? Or at least your C and Thunderbolt ports are working on MacOS? My TB gives power but it's not working out for data transfer.

I have a X280 which is very similar. This EFI works for me, besides the issues you report. I've found another git where display and hub in one work for me: https://github.com/waldir-xam/x280-Hackintosh

I ended up switching to this EFI https://github.com/HBlanqueto/T480-hackintosh and found that the USB-C (Not Thunderbolt) port work properly with my ThinkVision monitor. Both the display and the USB hub built into the monitor are working.

I have a USB-C hub with a HDMI, USB-A 3.0 and USB-C ports. Power and HDMI works, but the USB-A don't.

This EFI fixed it for me: https://github.com/Lost-Entrepreneur439/thinkpad-t480s-hackintosh
