I have set up m trackpad to a perfect speed, but trackpoint is tied to trackpad speed and it feels slow and unusable at that speed Can you suggest how to tweak it? Havent found anything on the internet about that tho

Mifaxav commented 2 years ago

doubtful this can be possible thru macOS (you will have to tweak the EFI) macOS only supports one trackpad but because of virtualisation, we can add many more like touchscreens and trackpoints. just test this out but, try changing the track settings in the mouse section instead of the trackpad section. If that doesn't work well... yeah...

@zeeall did you try it out yet?

@Mifaxav this did work, but its still not that fast as i want it to be and the mouse will be lightning fast too... idk i just need to understand how to manually change only trackpoint speed in config.plist or kext or smth

Tbh I don't have that much of an idea. Try contacting valnoxy if possible or check out any video regarding the same
