If you set an internal variable to get a multi-select in the dash that seems to work well. I can select one or more tiems in the pull down and I get just those items reflected in my panel table. If I set the panel setting "Repeat by variable" to the variable, I do get a panel for every value selected by each panel includes data for all selected items. It should be one selected item per panel.
