I'm currently researching different solutions for hand and face tracking and it's difficult to choose one based on the readmes provided. Others might feel the same, could someone with more insight offer a comparison?

As of now I can see these contenders:

handsfree.js is a wrapper around mediapipe (and one other)

A third option you haven't mentioned is https://github.com/vladmandic/human
