Slow startup of Firefox when Bonjourr is checked as homepage #255

Describe the bug Slow startup of Firefox portable 120.0.1 (64 bits) when Bonjourr 1.18.3 is checked as homepage. When boot of the homepage is done, a new launch of it is fast.

The startup of Firefox is fast with Firefox default homepage.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install Bonjourr 1.18.3
  2. Launch Firefox

Expected behavior Fast boot of Firefox with Bonjourr homepage.

Hello @Bunnnyface,

I've also experienced this issue on my Firefox, I think it comes from optimizations I made for Chromium. However it is very difficult to debug, it seems to only happen when rebooting after a long session.

Does the slow startup happen every time you reload Firefox ?

Hi @victrme ! Same here, the slow startup happens when rebooting after a long session. Seems like the fast startup is ok when Bonjourr is already recently charged.

I managed to improve some code on startup, it may have fixed the problem !

New version (1.18.4) is out with this fix. If there is no slowdown for a week or two, I'll close this issue.
