We were thinking about doing a "Locked" / "Edit" mode for quick links for the next big update (19.0), but we kept the current UI and the "locking links" feature took a backseat.
Is it an issue of accidentally dragging links when clicking on it ? Others also mentioned a similar issue before.
My daily PC is a Windows tablet; so, swiping where an icons are can [though usually doesn't: when it comes to touchscreens I'm not the most precise🙄] result in moving them.
ADDITIONALY: There is another touch related issue btw. With the option chosen to open links in a new page, when I go back to my Bonjourr tab and try to open another (any) link it takes two taps to get the link opened. This happens reliably - 100% repeatable every time. [My PC is a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 running Windows 11 and using an up-to-date Chrome browser] I can open a separate issue for this if it's preferable.
I fixed the double tap issue when opening multiple links in new tabs. It might only work for mobile and not PC tablets though. PC with touchscreens are hard to work with because the user can use both mouse and touch at the same time, so there is no default behavior to detect.
Let me know if the issue is fixed when the update comes out (19.0.0). If not, you can open a separate issue !
I've confirmed that the requisite double taps are no longer encountered. Thanks, victrme, there is no need for a official issue.
Please, include a method to lock the quick links in place so they can't be shifted around.
