Kiwi Browser custom search engine not working #404

Describe the bug Bonjour doesn't recognize a custom search engine

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Set search engine to standard
  2. Write text in search box
  3. Click on search icon or click enter on keyboard
  4. Nothing happens

Expected behavior Expected to see search results

I have set https://www.google.com/search?q=%s&udm=14 as the standard search engine in Kiwi browser, per instructions here https://www.ghacks.net/2024/05/23/how-to-use-google-search-entirely-ai-free-automatically/

This is now semi-working. The search results are not from https://www.google.com/search?q=%s&udm=14 that I have set as standard, but from the non-privacy respecting Google Search.

"Default" doesn't work on Kiwi Browser, so the option falls back to "Google". I'll add the udm=14 parameter to the Google option !
